Always wondered why some players imbed digits/numbers in their nicknames...

My nickname goes with my last name....which starts with Reising. My good friends bestowed it upon me after having a few beers on the patio and the infamous song was played on the radio...and it stuck.

Mine is because I stink at chess. I don't play well enough to be worthy of a greater piece in my name. But heck, I can handle pawns with the best of them! 😀 Well, generally. 😞

I use mine across a few different forums and sites. Anatsia is actually my cat's name and I started using it because I couldn't be ars3d to come up with something witty and original when I joined my first forum. It's stuck since then.

Sometimes they're old passwords, other times they tried for a particular name but it was already taken.

If you type something plain and common, like john in the player tables search box you'll see what I mean.

Also, if you create a hotmail account, they give you a name with numbers at the end.
