With millions of Americans drinking water from the tap, making food, feeding their animals, cleaning their homes, & bathing in such toxins its no wonder we have such poor health.

Some of the things you may find where you live:

Acetone
Ammonia
Arsenic
Asbestos
Chloroform
Cyanide
Formaldehyde
Lead
Radium
Radon
Tritium
Uranium
Vinyl Chloride

Those are the ones I could recognize by name as dangerous, never mind the multitudes of other chemicals I didn't recognize.

For my own part, I have been fortunate to live in parts of NY that weren't too polluted. With exception to the year I lived in Plattsburgh, NY where that city had the most polluted tap water in the country. All that Kool Aid I drink probably didn't do me much good.

If you look up your water dept., it will show you findings as late of 2003(both safe and unsafe limits). They're not the most current, but knowing the EPA I doubt they've cracked down on too many places considering the entire country is guilty. I think it stands to reason that the water systems have gotten worse in the last 5 years.

So how jacked up is your water supply?

As an afterthought, I always thought the cigarettes would be the ones to kill me. Now I'm not so sure.

the air we breath is polluted almost infinitely more than the water that comes out of your drinking water treatment plant.

You want to pick a fight? pick air pollution.

you need to put this into context. Post the Parts per million that is contained in the treated water. Then remember you have to account for any contamination that may come from poorly maintained pipes in the homeowners house. Lead for example comes from old lead pipes in the house that the homeowner is too cheap to replace.

Next, compare your PPM level to your government's water contaminant standards to see how/if the contaminant level is really an issue.

Finally, if you are REALLY TRULY concerned, put in a frickin UV and sediment filter system under your sink to filter out the contaminants.

Then, look up your local air quality index and ask yourself why you are so concerned about the water, but seem to not give two hoots about the insane cancer causing particles you breath in every second of every day you are outside.

Food for thought.

The data was taken from state water offices, not from the kitchen sinks of your everyday home owner. Yes, these numbers are in ppm and some are within "safe" amounts. However, one cigarette won't kill ya. Its the effect over time that does the trick.
