I saw a guy today playing with it in the tram.
He looked like a retard, holding it with both hands
and swinging it right and left. I think he was
snowboarding or something.
For gaming I prefer a PC or the Xbox. For work
issues I prefer a laptop.
The kindle is another story, but the Kindle App
on the Samsung Android phone is enough for me.
Russ: when is the RHP android app ready?
Originally posted by SeitseI certainly don't think an iPad is suitable for using while travelling. It is an invitation to get mugged.

That just leaves having the iPad for home/work use. There are plenty of combined touch screen tablet/laptops now on the market. Personally I would rather have one of those.

to a laptop structure? That sounds groovy!

Originally posted by SeitseI don't get iPads at all. What's more, many people who I see with them are pretensious pricks trying to show how "connected" and "right on" they are, by sitting all "cross-legged" looking like an Apple marketing add whilst their checking Failbook.

You can only have one application open at a time and and have to hold it all the time; what's wrong with a mini laptop that actually supports itself and has a proper keyboard.
Originally posted by divegeesterelementary, my dear watson. a laptop is too heavy for holding it lightly in one hand while watching porn.

I actually think the iPad is starting to look dated already. What's with that huge black border around the edge? Apple reduced those substantially on their iMacs so why is it on the iPad?
There are a lot of variants coming out over the next year of various sizes with and without extra bits (e.g. keyboards). It'll be interesting to see what's the biggest seller.
