Thunderbird is an e-mail client with built-in filters.
Why have an e-mail client and a spam filter?
I use Pegasus mail, and the newest version has built-in filters as well. It put a lot of non-junk in the junk folder when I tried it, but it could probably work reasonably well if you adjust it. But I don't think it can learn from previous e-mails like Spamihilator does.

Spam still occasionally gets through, especially when there's some new type of spam, but it's very rare.
Pay? Cor blimey!
So how many false positives do you get with your Spamihilator?
