Look, I'm not saying I haven't read books that are worthless to me, or that I won't again in the future. I just don't want to read any more than I come up with myself.
True story, I once read a fictional horror story by a Christian author only to discover near the end that it was a refutation of D ely childs play and I wasted an entire night on it. A night that I can never get back! Lol!
Our behaviour (...that which betrays an individual's true motives?) and the discreet acts that comprise "what we do"..? This behaviour is (...more often that most of us would care to admit) largely based on the psychologial/emotional * relationship that we have developed with our internalized-authorities/hallucinated-gods. Prior to intellectualization we "feel" what we should be doing next in whatever circumstances. Intellectualization, thereafter, may or may not modify those original psych/emotional responses. This is the small and brief opportunity that we have to exert some rational control over our knee-jerk reactions 🙄
