Rockford was talking with a thug like guy over a beer. He was pretty old. He's telling Rockford, "But look, I'm growing stronger with age". He crushes a beer can in his hands.
Rockford points out, "Actually, the cans they make these days are aluminum, and that's a lot weaker than tin".
