I am about 6 hours into it having got up at 4 am today. After 6 days of applying my nose to the grindstone, today will be a kind of self-rewarding day of making radio.

Am taking my ex husband for a drive down to see the boats go through the lock at Cardiff Barrage. There’s a nice restaurant nearby so he’ll buy me lunch 😋

I will have lunch with an ex-colleague at Volvo - there are many places to choose from, just a matter of taste and money. 🙂

I just Googled Volvo. It's Swedish. Bit of a coincidence, with you being Swedish too. And then there's your friend working for Volvo. It just adds up too much.

I have operated locks on a canal. Many times. But today never looked like a day when I was going to get to do that.

will roll out of bed, scrambled egg and toast plus a cup of earl grey,1/2hr on my bike then lunch do the guardian crossword with mrs badger then wordle, another 1/2 hr on bike ( trying to fitten myself up... this heart failure is a drag,cook tea ..liver dinner listen to mrs badgers audible story for a couple of hrs then bed.
