When have you been made to “taste of you own medicine”

Relentless Red recently accused me of hijacking his e-mail address and causing his Facebook account to be closed down. Presumably, he thought, by making this accusation, he was giving me a "taste of my own medicine".

Well, one thing I'm definitely not going to do is to hijack his e-mail address and cause his Facebook account to be closed do. So one might argue that the lesson he taught me was a masterstroke and has made him safer.

this is a thing i remember!
when the phrase was hollared at me (and it was always hollared, never spoken in a normal tone of voice) it meant i was gonna catch hell for whatever i was doing that momma did not want me to do
looking at it now, in analyzing mode, medicine is the remedy for aches and pains, not the aches and pains themselves
so technically, a "taste of medicine" is the thing that fixes all the hurt, and is not a retaliation for wrongs committed (even imagined ones)

i conclude that "a taste of yer own medicine" is ass-backwards and dumb as a forum argument and any using such really should reconsider their choices of verbal weaponry

and the answer to yer earnest question is no, i was never cured of whatever my own medicine was meant to cure
