A Dream Within A Dream
~ Edgar Allan Poe
Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow-
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefo ...[text shortened]... I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?
Originally posted by arrakisI do that too, but now that my PC is downstairs while the other housemates are away, I have to go all the way downstairs in the cold to go online, so now I just don't bother. 🙁
Lately I've been waking up around 5:00 am. That wouldn't be bad except I don't go to bed until after 2:00 am. 😕
So when I start tossing and turning I just get up, fix myself a strong drink, and come in here to read the posts. That usually puts me to sleep... no offense to anyone.

Mokko is officially preoccupied.
Feel free to not give a rats ass. 😀
From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were-I have not seen
As others saw-I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I lov'd, I lov'd alone.
Then-In my childhood-in the dawn
Of a most stormy life-was drawn
From ev'ry depth of good and ill
The mystery that binds me still:
From the torrent, or the fountain.
From the lightning in the sky
As it passed me flying by-
From the thunder and the storm,
(When the rest of heaven was blue)
From a demon in my view.
E.A.Poe

Am glad there are others out there that appreciate the work of E.A.Poe
