I get a big kick out of Chapelle. He takes on everyone. After seeing his appearance on "Inside the Actors Studio" I liked him even better. He's a pretty sharp guy.

In Grand Blanc, Michigan we have Family Video . They have put several other video stores out of business cause they rent DVD movies for $1.00 and you can keep them for 5 days!

They will also let you rent VHS movies for $.50 cents for 7 days, but after getting used to the DVD quality I can't stand to watch a movie on VHS. Doesn't look as good on a 60" screen.

That's a good deal.
Blockbusters is crap because they basically don't have anything older than a couple of years, unless it's a reissue on DVD, in which case they'll charge you the same price as a new film for some old b&w classic.

I like to avoid anything with the word "family" in it. The only reason I'll go to Blockbuster is that they have the best selection of "24" videos. Personally, I like a place called "Video Droid" but I owe them $80 in late fees. 😳

Oh! You are a candidate for NetFlix! I belong to it as well. For $19.95/month you can rent unlimited DVD movies, 3 at a time. They come by mail and you keep them as long as you want and when you are done you just drop their prepaid envelope in your mail box. I once had one of their movies for over a month.

If I drop 3 of their movies in the mail on Monday they receive it and send me 3 more from my "list" by Thursday. You make up your list by going to their website - they have movies and documentaries that you can't get anywhere else.
