A hand is not a word.

Hand IS a word, it is the word we assigned to it so we could talk about it.

Don't make me use it.

As long as you know Five is a word, we agree.

The difference between a number and a word is that there is no final number on this. This is the final word.

Actually, they have the same symbol assigned to them, but one is NOT the other.

A decimal point as well as a full stop are not words, though decimal point as well as a full stop are words.

Much like the number 5 is not a word, though when we see the symbol 5 in our head we think "Five".

Right TA? I said "RIGHT"?!~

An ascii hand is not text, so I don't think editing it irresponsibly is against the rules.

Noodles, I must say I was very excited to see you're name in this thread so you could tell us all (using your MIGHTY WORD POWERS) who's been right, and who's been barking up the wrong tree.

Next, I see you've only come to TROLL this thread.

I can't even say it was tedious and predictable, since I've been blind sided by your decision to not participate in the thread topic but take a poke at some ascii I used as a diagram to support my hypothesis.

Shame on you!~

They are all strings. The distinction between "number" and "word" is arbitrary.
