No city. I hate cities. I have lived in Coventry, Sheffield and Montreal.
Montreal was the biggest and nicest.
I live in a village of approx. 2000 people. Closest town = Hudderfsield. Closest city = Barnsley, although I never, ever go there.

We have a new English Pub in town run by a couple from St Helen's very nice people.. very nice pub very nice food.. esp mushy peas!!! eeee by gum they're good... I say it 'gain ee by gum they're good.

hey-there are 3 people from the glasgow area in this thread, which is more than any other city. so, from this sample population we can quite confidently state that glasgow is the city for internet chess! although this may be because it's too cold and/or wet to leave the house...

Considering that Glasgow has about 15 times as many inhabitants as Bodø, while the ratio of posters in this thread is 3:1, I can quite confidently state that Bodø is the town for internet chess. Although this may be because it's too cold and/or wet to leave the house, otherwise part of me would be outside.
