If I felt it I'd probably think that it is either draught (and would consequently yell "close the bloody window!"😉 or that some desperate gay makes a move on me (not sure if it is right expression, I heard something like that in film "Man who wasn't there"😉.
But I think terrorism has thrown a damper on things in general. The world appears to be "feeling" insecure, and so the "spirit" has been squelched. Just another of my opinions. 😉

I agree, terrorism puts fear in a lot of people. They are accomplishing their mission, when people allow this to stop them from doing things.
it's troubling to exalt athletes when destitution and hunger are rampant...
when a government cannot help sustain its own citizens,
and yet wants the honor of hosting international games,
the blade of the guillotine is sharpened by the poor...

Yup. I have no clue who any of the athletes are, which countries are doing well, etc. This will be the first Summer Olympic event I've missed completely, since I first remember watching it.
