There really is no difference between the four, except for the backrounds, and only redhotpawn.com and redhotchess.com have the burning pawn logo. Some say that chessatwork.com is more discrete.

i changed to TFC when someone told me 'Redhotpawn' might attract the attention of the internet nazis at work. have since left the job, but stuck with TFC - i find it easier on the eye...

pawn. The exciting red background compliments my usually defensive style of chess by making me more aggressive. I'm guessing if I switched to chessatwork, or timeforchess, my rating would drop a couple of hundred points. 😛

TFC "easier on the eye" ...get the optician to change the prescription...it's all wrong. TFC is bright green, i look at the for 5 seconds and temporarily lose my eyesight. I use RHP because it really is easy on the eye.
