Black's royalty will be reversed in the same way. So although a mirror image of the board doesn't change the game, the move e4 in the traditional setup cooresponds to d4 in the new one. The reversal will be confusing, though technically the same game.
does it REALLY matter?
How can it change the outcome of your game?
You've been had my friend. White on Right is a tradition that was started during the late 19th Century by members of what was to become the Klu Klux Klan. It fitted their purposes to have such a slogan repeated in Chess circles around the World. And ever since the corrupt and horrible organisation of FIDE started up we've been stuck with it.
It really is a shame.

"Queen on her color" which took some of the snap out of 'White on the right' It redressed a terrible wrong.
