Remember when it was a milestone when all the top 20 were above 1700. Now all of the top 20 are above 1900 and 9 out of the top 10 are above 2000. Kirk

The top 10 is certainly more worth than 1700 Elo. Being over 2000 is indeed a better reflection of their playing strength ..... no nostalgia here for me ..... 😉

Here's a good example of the superiority of the Dutch Clan.

Perhaps you can share with him how wonderful the Apostles are as another clan that compliments the Dutch. 😉

That's what I mean. The RHP top 10 ratings can at least go up another 125-175 Elo points in order to be comparable to international FIDE ratings.

Dutch Clan rocks ...... 😲

Yep, that figures. My RHP rating is 1900 against my NZCF rating of 2010 and FIDE 2166 (deep sigh)

Well, in march I was aiming for MAP of the month (and succeded). Needless to say this didn't have a positive effect on my RHP-rating though I managed to beat Mephisto2 in that period!
And no, my FIDE-rating wasn't 2219 then, it was 2245 if I recall it correctly.

Well last year I managed to draw IM Geert van der Stricht. I'm sure you've heard of him! I think he is the current Belgian champion! I'm rated 300th or so in Holland.

I didn't know there were that many people in Holland. 😉 Kirk
