I don't know who Amanda Tapping is, but I found Marina Sirtis quite annoying as Counsellor Troy. Of course that was only partly her own fault, but I didn't find her more likeable in her interviews. And I don't find her beautiful either.

Ananda Tapping plays Captain Samantha Carter on Stargate SG-1.
She is one most episodes so watching any one will bring her up.
Why did you find Sirtis annoying? Also where did you see her interviewed and what didn't you like about it?

I have never seen Stargate SG-1, and I don't have a TV.

Why do I find Troy annoying... hm, it's not easy to describe, but I find almost everything about her annoying, the voice, the movements, the constant flirting with Riker (who is just as annoying), her babbling about feelings... I have Star Trek - The Next Generation on DVD, and it contains some interviews with the actors. The things which I find annoying about Sirtis in the interviews are about the same I find annoying about Troy. Maybe I am unfair, and just can't see the person because I can't help seeing Troy in her.

Ha ha. I never said she didn't have talent, or that I had any talent as an actor (I certainly don't). I just gave my personal opinion about her and her role. I won't give my personal opinion about you.
