P.S Not after personal details just thought it would be interesting to know.... Could have a poll to see who everyone thinks is the RHP celebrity chum.

A very fair point.......😡

My second cousin is Paddy Ashdown the former leader of the Liberal Democrats in the UK. Probably means nothing to anyone from anywhere else.

Would of been a great story if he had ever had a chance of being Prime Minister... :0)

my great uncle was victor mclaglen (50 & 60's star) - if that counts.
his offspring are still in the movie biz - most recent blockbusters the family were involved in are titanic and gone in sixty seconds.

I live in the house which Dave Strijbos built and he lived in it before we did, but I guess no one around here knows him . For people who are interested. He is the best motorcrosscyclist of the world, at least he won the world championship more than once I think. 😏

I have heard of him. Didn't know that he had built a house. Probably didn't build it himself, I gather πŸ™‚. And I highly doubt if you have met him personally, let alone that he is a friend? He was champion in the eighties, with you fresh out of diapers. πŸ˜€

And to stay with 'famous' Dutch people twice removed: my father once played chess against Hans Böhm, who plays chess (obviously πŸ˜€), does some television, writes books (about chess), etc...

And come to think of it, a friend of mine once met the 'friends of Amstel', for those who know them of Dutch TV.

Don't know any international people (personally or 'removed'πŸ˜‰ though.

You shouldn't doubt me Piderman. Of ccourse I met the guy. I even shook hands with him, and he still lives in my neighbourhood, So I really know the guy. His little kid, about 7 years old, already has his own motorcross bike, but okay, he isn't a friend of mine.
By the way, make it early nineties instead of the eightiesπŸ˜›
