I remember seeing some posts by the guy just before he was "removed".

Either by request or admins found the name offensive I guess 🤷
Maybe with all of the head hunting in regards to online posts and cancel culture this maybe has scared some people and they are trying to erase their online past?
Many have changed their names and tried to change their persona, some have managed to do so, but everyone can tell who they use to be. Many will forget over time. I was going to change mine, because people had complained about me not being Very Rusty, but Russ said no need. I kind of got attached to Very Rusty's don't care attitude. 🙂

I imagine some posters have successful lives and if their posts became public knowledge it could hurt their career so maybe they had everything removed?
One user...Sicilian Smaug or something like that had all of his posts completely removed.
