It's going to be Dougray Scott I imagine, likely best known for being the bad guy in Mission Impossible 2.
A hibee Bond: winner!

How about a Nancy boy James Bond for a change? Maybe you could have Julian Clary mincing about or even Dale Winton.

Tony Sinclair (sp?) .

Seriously though , what about Alan Rickman ? He's no Connery , but he sure as hell isn't Moore .

Hey drop it already. I thought that Roger Moore was pretty good. That George guy let everyone down though.

I thought even he was better than Dalton . For some reason Dalton always looked like he was going to burst into tears .

Richard E. Grant is a great actor, but I don't see him as an action hero.
And Alan Rickman is too old for the part.
That guy who is going to be the new Dr. Who would be good. I think he's called Tennant.

What about Hugh Grant as Bond?

"Well, I, see, yes. You know. Well," Flicks hair out of eyes, "Yes, well, this is the problem....."

Ha, that is great! Anyone say Jude Law yet? He seems pretty popular of late.

No, actually, I think Joe Pesci would be the best Bond.

Just imagine him smashing some terrorist up with a cricket bat shouting in posh English with a slightly New York undertone: "Did you call my friend a spy? Did you? Did you?"

How about Jim Carey?!

*Lifts one eybrow, "Give me a Martini, and shake me!"

I liked Pierce but the fx etc were over the top.
Pierce Brosnan didn't want to do the formula again.
He pulled out.
The producers then though about it and said they wanted a new back to basics Bond and the rumour mill turned.

Now Judi Dench has announced that she and Pierce Brosnan are coming back a new one with less fxs. I think with less effects and more plot Pierce Brosnan will shine.

Don't think much of John Cleese as Q.

Sean Connery was the best JB even in the come back remake of Thunderball.

I'd love them to bring him back to do "Son of Bond" with him as Dad.
(Connery's Bond did marry ... his bride was murdered)
