Just went to the flicks after a long time away* and I was
pleasantly entertained by the latest MI movie. Nothing to
break my head, lots of action, perfect pace, and the right
dose of comic relief --without overdoing it.
Bond, Borne and MI aside, I do not see action movies
in the proper sense of the word being shot anymore. If
you want to have a good time, I recommend this delightful
mental escapade.

What about Jurassic World or Terminator Genysis?

May go see it then.
What about Jurassic World or Terminator Genysis?
on unassuming Asian children, but it did just not cut it for me.
It felt cartoonish, slow paced, and there was no wow effect, not
even in the FX. As for Genesys, let's say I'd strongly suggest, as
we're similar age, to keep the good memories of T1 and T2 intact π

It wasn't the best flick ever, but it was entertaining, which is what movies are for.
Originally posted by SeitseWell, it doesn't have Michael Bay-level special effects, so if that's what you go to movies to see, you may be disappointed. I'd say wait, because while the film was entertaining, I dunno if I'd lay out the money to see it as a first-run movie again. I'd probably rather see Marvel's Ant-Man, as I've heard some rather good things about it.
Hey, haven't checked that out.
Do you think the FX justify the movie ticket or should I wait for
streaming/DVD?
I was looking for a cameo by David McCallum, the only surviving member of the TV show, but they didn't humor me in this regard.

visits to stuff with awesome cinematography, effects, or sound.
Sad because I love to go to the movies.
