[b]October last year:

A new £40 million programme to provide an innovative approach to
tackling homelessness, with prevention at its heart, has been announced
by Prime Minister Theresa May and Communities Secretary Sajid Javid.

Theresa May: “We know there is no single cause of homelessne ...[text shortened]... g prepared to offer a
safety net to catch those who might simply be struggling to get by.”

If she's being truthful, then that's good news, but if this is just more of conservatives thinking they own the answers to every problem, 40 million is just a start, and probably the end of it. That's far less than the total amount of tax cuts to the top 1%, which is their real priority.

Oh I'm not saying it's great.
Just pointing out to Trev that Mrs May thinks there is a problem even if he does not.
