3(b) While a game is in progress you may not refer to chess engines, chess computers or be assisted by a third party.

Amen to the sand-baggers. It seems like I can't maintain a rating because every time I start getting ahead, along comes these under rated players and they clean my clock. The same clock players in my own class have a difficult time doing. These guys do it with no effort. It has a discouraging effect. Several times I have considered just dropping out, but this is the best site I have found.

It's just weird.
I mean, seriously...what a waste of time. Cheating at chess???!!!???
Are you kidding me???
Why don't you cheat the MAN instead?
I'm no cheater, now as far as being a sandbagger, I mean
I have some pretty pathetic games where I don't know what I was thinking.
I probably wasn't thinking and that's the problem. I have lost way too many games from timeouts. I guess I was being to ambitious with regards to the number of games I thought I could handle.
But when I'm on...and my mind is clear and I have time to sit and ponder all the different combos...I can take down the big guys.
So, whatever.
It's all perception anyways.
I'll throw in some more cliches later.

My guess as to why they're classified as 3(b) is that they're cheating their unsuspecting opponents. 3(a) are just bagging extra free games, i.e. cheating the website owners.
