If you're playing a load of games and losing, your opponent will make a new move multiple times a day, but if you have a good position in all the games you're playing you're lucky to get one move a day?

Guess I better subscribe, I need my fix. Plus I won't have to hear "SAY SOMETHING!" "WHAAAAAT?" again.

On the other hand, I could use my time off work to redecorate the house. Er.... nah.

agreed.
ive only had ppl moving on 15 of my 40 games.
and those are the 15 im down material 😕
one guy has been two moves away from mate for 11 days now, but wont resign or move. I guess it takes time for engines to find a way to win from any position🙄

Make all your open invites 1/na, that way your opponent has to move every day,, or lose.

Because winning is fun and slogging towards a loss is demotivating

True, but for example I was away in Manchester for the weekend a couple of weeks ago, and I only intended to stay for a day. So, I need that timebank because I don't know what's gonna happen.

3/na ?

All i'm saying is, that 1/na is the standard non-sub "get loads of games in" time out of choice.

Maybe you could have half and half between 1/na, and 3/7 ? That way you would have the best of both worlds ?

ive noticed since I got to 1700s a lot of ppl will resign when they know they cant win, if your down a key piece and positioning most will resign. I think sometimes its kinda insulting when ppl dont. Plus its demoralizing to have a bunch of losing games going at the same time. People! Resign hopeless game! Focus your energy on the ones you have a chance on!

Probably the best idea. Only, recently I've been accepting games, not setting em - my bad.

I think the most insulting is when people offer you a draw when it's obvious you're in the dominant position. The cheek! And yes, I did win that game.

Regarding resigning a hopeless game though, if I was a quitter I would have resigned this after three moves:

Game 2848260

But AH YEAH, I came through!

If I was playing a 1700 player I probably would have the courtesy to resign, though.

It's only £20, isn't it? It is definitely worth it. In the next few daze you'll probably see a star against my name.

Why is it that when, you know, you're burying a guy alive and then you start to feel sorry for him.
And then you get over it and just keep shoveling?

HoH? Any thoughts or comments?

I never feel sorry for them, so I can't really comment on that.

Don't worry about your opponents feelings.
