I tried microsofts "games zone" chess rooms. ok, but like everything to do with TRMITW <billy "hinges" gates> you have to get past a ton of crap before you can see the floor. Here is better. Slower attitudes. Quicker wits. Good conversation in your matches and a really well thought out site. The people seem to make RHP. There are kids and us old foggies and everything in between. Makes for a generally good time.
Originally posted by GarnetNBlacki prefer coresspondence chess to "real time" chess over the internet, and i've only ever found 2 good corespondence chess sites-here and GK, but i don't like the webmaster there for numerous reasons, so i'm finishing my games off there then quitting (i've played at both simultanously for about a year...😛)
I've been trying out some of the various turn-based sites and like what I see so far: good discussions here on the forums, a rating system for the game play. Can you tell me what other sites you have checked out, and why you have picked this site over others?
Thanks,
GNB
