errr... sorry bout that
happened yesterday so I thought it was ok.
Will still be interesting to watch the remainder of the match, minus the suspense. I'm such a tennis geek, I often replay interesting sequences 6-10 times before continuing on with the match...
An interesting observation I made watching the Nadal v Agassi match:
During the interview afterwards, Agassi was extremely stiff, never turning his head more than a few degrees either side. His whole upper body moved as one from the hips up. My suspicion is that his back condition has worsened and that he won't let on, prefering to finish out his career with no excuses. What a turn around for someone who started out as such a brash young talent.

Hard to let go of some of these awesome matches though!
and I think the Left arm of Nadal would be his only giveaway in the Whoresmo comparison.
That bitch has some beefy arms as well though!
I havent played much in the past year or so.
I'm 26 now, and for the past year+ I have been playing a lot of Disc Golf instead. But from 21-25 I played 4-5 times a week.
my playing partner got a job that required too much time and we just stopped playing, so I took up Disc.
I agree, playing is 10x better. My buddy and I just try to hit, we managed a 75 hit rally one time, our best, and those 2 hours we played that day are still fresh in my mind as one of the peaks of Sport playing in my life.
Originally posted by TuciiiiI don't have a favorite between the 2 of them, but their rivalry will be great for tennis for the next few years. I think Federer might be one of the greatest ever, but now he has to battle Nadal for every title.
I prefer Rafa to Federer, but I must admit today Roger was better...It was a great match andi loved it anyway 🙂

out of curiosity, how many of you tennis geeks also play tennis? I just ask because while watching is fun, playing is 10x better.
Miss the game terribly, thank goodness I've got my boat and fishing buddies!
Originally posted by TuciiiiI prefer to watch Federer play, his game seems so much more imaginative. Ha ve to admire Rafa's heart and gritty play tho'. Surely he's becoming a champion in his own right.

The rivalry should be interesting over the next few years. Which player will improve in order to dominate the other? Rafa has yet to peak and I just can't tell how "hungry" Roger is.
played tonight for the first time in a while. was shanking everything to high hell, it was pathetic.
also a pisser finding a court now that I am out of college. I hate having to pay for an hour for the fin priviledge to play when half the damn courts are ALWAYS empty up at the tennis center.
Pricks.
