Also, check all of your hardware first to make sure there's a Windows 7 driver for it. Especially scanners and printers. You don't want to get there and find out you need a new printer, too because the old one doesn't play nice with Windows 7. It's supposed to work with Vista drivers but you know how that goes...
Do you have Windows 7? Is it rubbish?
