Sugarcoated treetops
line up the horizon
--an endless line
of visual white powder
to snort up through the eyes.

I can't feel my face
nor my fingers.
Help me!
I'm freezing.

I haven't experienced snow since January 2007 and it was only the snow-equivalent of light drizzle. Before that, it was rather different: regular 3 metres deep snowfalls and [up to] minus 15 degrees mornings throughout the winters of the 1990s in northern Japan.

Two days of constant drizzle and daytime high of 12C.
To be expected in winter ... except it's friggin SUMMER here! 😠
