Pretty much. Although I think some tarriffs in the UK are limited by amount of downloading, so if you're big into that you might end up costing the person something or limiting their access. I doubt chess moves really matter though.

Also if you're stealing from a company then they'll have a massive connection anyway and it won't really register. I stopped ...[text shortened]... C/Blitzin without having to pay!

Btw, see also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_chalking
I kind of heard of this happening but I never really checked into how it was done or what the effects were. Because I don't have a remote access. It's kind of neat. I bet it won't be long they will be doing it like cell phones with towers. Or maybe they are. Anyway I thought someone would have to have some kind of apparatus to latch on. I never knew it was so easy. Thanks for filling me in.

Depending on how their wireless network is set up, it is sometimes possible to hack into it and any computer on it. Google 'Wardriving' for a bit more info on the subject.

Apart from that, you're right about the cost and speed ideas.
Thanks I will do that.

It's cool to go shoplifting in places like Asda or Walmart, they make so much profit they don't notice the losses.
Same thing isn't it?

They do notice the losses but it is all budgeted for so the price is passed on to paying customers.

Even if you ram-raided the place with a Ford Transit and stole a van full of stock, it'll only be worth £10 and wall all fall apart/stop working within a week ๐Ÿ˜•

Yep, sounds like the same thing to me. I know I don't think shoplifting is cool. But I did find it interesting that it is so easily done and that there isn't some kind of automatic protection. I'm no big friend of Walmart and I am no Angel, but I am not thief. Probably why I am poor sort of.๐Ÿ˜ณ Honesty sucks sometimes, but at least I am trusted.

Anyone can park infront of a hotel with a laptop and work off of their connection.

I liked David Berwith's quote, 'I didn't want to hurt them, I only wanted to kill them'. ๐Ÿ˜•
