I don't see a lot of wishing wells so labeled, but that doesn't stop people from tossing coins into fountains and pools. This is an old and pagan habit that adds color and charm to the day.

Gives the homeless gal a few pence, too.

Have you ever tossed a few coins in a wishing well while making a wish which actually came true?
