Flies (I wish I could too)

(Norwegian and Swedish are quite similar. I wonder which ones are most alike: swedish-norwegian or swedish-danish?)

Fruit flies like an arrow

(Norwegian - Danish 😉 )
(Edit: Norwegian and Danish are almost the same in writing, but Norwegian and Swedish sound more similar. So if it's between Swedish - Danish and Swedish - Norwegian, I'd say Swedish - Norwegian.)

But I fly like a sparrow

(Norwegians and danish folks are just envious because Swedish is a much richer language. HA!)

[Edit: Yes, when talking, there's no telling what the danish are saying. The norwegians can be understood if they speak reaaaal slow.]

Babies fly like a banana.

(Danish folks are envious because neither Norwegian nor Swedish sound like an illness.)

[Yes, you have to talk very slowly if you talk to a Swede, they are a bit slow. 😛 ]

Bananas are good. Mmmmm...

(Yes, people from southern sweden - skåne - also speak from deep down their throats. It used to be that skåne belonged to the danish kingdom way back, so that would explain it.)

[Edit: http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lista_%C3%B6ver_falska_v%C3%A4nner/Nordiska_spr%C3%A5k]

[Edit 2: That list explains why norwegians are so hard to understand. They've got the words all wrong, meaning things they don't.]
