"De nada" is not French. It's not even something that a self-respecting Quebecer would say. And they haven't spoken proper French in 250 years!

It is you're welcome! I don't know if it is Quebec french or not, but it is french that is used here in the maritimes. I am sure you will find it if you take the time. I have already done so:

and is the most common “you’re welcome” in France.
Also if you trust google translate try Spanish to French "de nada"
