Hello fellow RHP'ers,

I'm trying to gather information or stories of good/bad experiences about working on projects abroad. The sort of projects I had in mind are more charity/cultural based such as going to Mexico and help rebuild a local church, etc, e.g. working for non-profit organisations.

It would be great if anyone had any experiences to share, or could recommend some similar adventures! 🙂

Go to Mexico. You will learn how to play good football and to eat and drink like a man.

Good luck!

I recommend the Balkans. I spent two years in Bulgaria and loved every minute of it.

Go to Ireland. You will learn every single day about 800 years of English oppression, how much you appreciated the simplicity of the British Queue and how Knackers aren't in fact dangling between your legs but living in a beautiful place called 'Tallaght' (Irish for 'the pizza capital of the world'😉.

And you will learn to drink like a man.

Good luck!
I can't go there... I am straight :'(
