I'd like to thank the Dutch national team for their display of fair-play and sportmanship.

I special shout out to the man who injured our star player in the beginning of the match and to the one who didn't gave us the ball back after the ref stopped play. Well done.

Have a nice trip.

PS: The Dutch fans are one of the best out there and I wish them well, unlike their NT.

Sorry, was all of Portugal's fair play before or after Figo head-butted Van Bommel and Deco's sulky refusal to hand the ball back?

I'd like to thank the Dutch for Grolsch, Nijmegen coffee shops, Edam and Gouda cheese, Delft pottery and for teaching South Africans to speak funny...

What sportmanship and fairplay, there was none from both sides.

Bhoularouz, he's hard but not mean and it was not ment to kick Ronaldo out of the game.
Heitinga, agreed, but that's no reason to try to put him under the ground.

I'm pretty shure that they will enjoy there holiday.

My view:
- It was a normal game, but thanks to the ref it looks like a slaughter game.
- Robben must stop with going to the ground constantly.
- Figo can make nice headbuts and van Bommel is a drama actor.
- Bhoularouz was faster then Figo and Figo learned the drama acting very well from van Bommel.
- Portuguees players like to stay on the ground and checkout the several sorts of grass .
- The referee was in his right with a lot of yellow cards, but forget that football is ment to be played instead of standing still after yet another stupid yellow card or possible faul.
- The Portuguees coach is a strange and annoying man on the side line, constantly talking/shouting to our NT coach, as if he told our team to injure your players, etc.
- I probably forget a few, but I'm sure that others can remind me about that.

P.S. I have nothing against the Portugal fans and I wish them well, unlike their National Team and specially against their coach.

I'd agree that both sides were lacking sportmanship. Eg Heitinga was wrong to keep the ball, and Deco was wrong for reacting the way he did.

I'd also agree that Bhoularouz wasn't TRYING to hurt people - but he did, twice. Both Ronaldo and Figo had visible marks on them, which to me proves the yellow cards were justified.

I'd also agree that Robben needs to learn to stay on his feet and stop whinging.

The whole game was a mess. Here were two teams that everyone was keen to see playing great football, and instead they let the need to 'not lose' get to them.

I'd like to thank the Portugese national team for their display of brilliant acting - I hear they are up for several Oscars.

Still at least they now have a ready-made excuse for when England kick their asses out of the Cup.

Dr. Strangelove is still hurting, is he?

Let me guess "We woz robbed" is your excuse for the last games?

Do you mean when Deco picked up the ball and was wrestled to the floor immediately, and got the red card while the dutch player got nothing?

Oh, ok.

Well at least we haven't needed any help from the ref yet.
Unlike you know who.

Still complaining about the refs? It's your usual excuse. You may quite well beat us, without Deco i rate it 50-50, but you won't see me using the ref excuse.

I mean it. I found them very noisy, funny and extremely good-spirited in 2004. Them and the danes were always fun.
