Germany draws Costa Rica, Poland, and Ecuador...walkover.

England draws Paruguay, T&T, and Sweden...tough group here...Paraguay could pull an upset.

Jesus...Mexico draws Iran, Angola, and Portugal...kidding me, right?

Italy draws Ghana, US, and Czecho...just where I thought, US gets screwed...

Brazil, Croatia, Australia, Japan...for Christ' ...[text shortened]... ooks pretty clear who the Round of 16 will be...why did they bother inviting 32 teams this year?
Do you know anything about football?

That's a pretty good group for England considering what it could have been.
Mexico will not be pleased with drawing Portugal.
If the US perform anything like last time they can be reasonably optimistic of progressing.

Looks pretty clear who the Round of 16 will be...why did they bother inviting 32 teams this year?

If you can correctly predict the last 16 I'll show my @rse in Trafalgar square!!! 😲

Looks like a nice easy warm up for England.

T&T most likely runners up in the group.....get your bets on now.

Don't think mexico will care too much, considering their groups overall make up...

England really should qualify with ease, but whether they come 1st or not is a tricky one.

Sounds like the pre-match analysis for N. Ireland- England if you ask me...

In a one-off game, ANYTHING can happen.

Are the African teams can surprise again, like Senegal did 4 yrs ago. they beat France on opening day. Senegal was the top 8 teams in the 2002 world cup.

Well, I'll hold you to it. Here's my go:

Germany
Poland
England
Sweden
Argentina
Holland
Mexico
Portugal
Italy
Czecho
Brazil
Croatia
France
South Korea
Spain
Ukraine

Who else could possibly go through?

Maybe Paraguay, maybe S&M if Holland leave their kits on the team bus, Group E is the only true wildcard, where three ...[text shortened]... re so many weak teams due to the allocation of slots that the Round of 16 is almost preordained.
This may be a plan for around the time of the tournament. I did something like that in school, you predict scores and stuff for each game, and you get points for the accuracy. Might be interesting, see who scores the most...

Ivory Coast seem pretty strong, pity they are in such a hard group.

Johnny, better you stick talking about religion in Spirituality forum.

Yes,and Moreno, the referee of that game, was suspended by FIFA after that game and now he's not a referee anymore.
I wonder why,he did so well in that game..........
