There is a lot of skill involved in the game and it can be quite rough at times. An elbow to the side of the head isn't a good feeling, and they seem to get kicked in the legs a lot. Some looks like an accident some looks intentional. Take a lot of endurance for sure, as well as skill.
I know nothing about the game but was on the edge of my sofa watching it. I thought it was brilliant!

-Removed-Trust me 99.9% of hockey hits are intended, hitting is permitted in Hockey, that is how people get hurt, also learn real quick to keep their heads up. I played hockey since I was a boy, they have ruined the game with all the new rules they made through out the years, although the game has gotten faster with many more skilled players than back in the old 6 Team League.
