Dear concerned from basement,

It is a well known fact within scientific circles that the
internet is solely useful (using the "gnawed-time/fruits-
obtained" ratio, aka GTFO) for two purposes:

(i) porn
(ii) obtain trustworthy free medical advice

That said, indeed you are correct in your appreciation
regarding World of Warcraft people being retarded.
However, you must be aware of the fact that sitting for
too long in front of a computer causes atrophy of the
reproductive organs. Henceforth, the gene pool of WoW
users is set to wane and eventually disappear.

And, re: your last question, the answer is yes. RHP is a
stepping stone into retardedness, but only for those
giving attention to the Retard-O-Twins.

Yours respectfully,
Dr. Alex McLeish

Tell a Starcraft fan that it's really just Warcraft with spacesuits and watch them blast off. 🙂

I play WoW and City of Heroes.

I also have a well-rounded life and don't spend my entire life playing them.

You don't play WoW and yet here you are at RHP. Your pot calls my kettle black.

Is your character male or female?

Divegeester was talking about "people who spend literally all their sad lives playing this online game". I can't see anything in his post suggesting that everybody playing WoW spends all xyr life on it. If you don't, your answer to the first question would be "no". Why get upset?

I used to play Star Wars Galaxies between 80 and 100 hours a week a few years back. After a year of that I realised that real life was gone and I'd forever be stuck wishing I was in a computer game. It's a heavy cross to bear. Sex helps alleviate the burden, a little.

Typical Conversation:

Prima: Oh, I heard you play WoW. I've never played it.

Secunda: Yes, I've been playing for a year or so.

Prima: Really? How often do you play?

Secunda: I AM NOT ADDICTED! I HAVE A LIFE!!! RAAAGGHH!!!! *wipes drool*

Definitely not a wizard. I see you as an amazon or barbarian woman with lots of muscles and a big sword (phallic symbol).

Am I right?

It's a wide-spread belief that people who play online games are sad, lonely, nerdy, pathetic losers. Even the part of his post you quoted seems to perpetuate this belief. I just wanted to let him know that a) not everyone who plays online games is like that, and b) he's not much better off with his RHP addiction.

Oh, yeah, and nice to see you can assume with the best of them. Who's upset?

Wrong!

That's wrong!

Sad, lonely, nerdy, pathetic losers play MMORPGs. Not all online games are MMORPGs.

I used to play RTS games and currently play mostly FPS online. Most of the people that kill me regularly are definitely nowhere near to the type of person that plays MMORPGs. RTS and FPS games actually require skill, in stark contrast to WoW.
