Yes mate, that is true. They are the advantages.
The disadvantages would be treated like savages by a very violent race to whom your life would be of no value to them. Lesser races would be hunted down and exterminated as we were not French. You have a look at every ex-French colony and show me a success story?
Their food may be great, not if i was'nt allowed to eat from the same table though.
