Imagine Burt Reynolds as Han Solo in Star Wars, rather than Harison Ford!? That is what I hear the original casting idea was.

Here is what I found about it on the net:
I did a search for:
"burt reynolds as Han Solo"
and found the following info from:

-Frederique knows her Star Wars trivia well. Burt Reynolds as Han Solo? Weird... Only the Dutch would know something like that. She passes her pepper, which could range from HOT to REAL HOT, to Corbin. Wow, Corbin's the big Kahuna now!

That was from Celebrity Mole.. I did see that episode so perhaps that is where I heard it.
I can't find it anywhere for real on the net, but what do you search for to find it?!

Harrison Ford (who had played Bob Falfa in Lucas' American Graffiti (1973)) read the part of Hans Solo for screen tests of other characters but wasn't originally considered for the part. During these tests Lucas realized Harrison Ford was perfect for the role.

He missed the mark by a wide margin with Harrison Ford since he was a co-star in The Conversation and also had another role previous to that.

haven't you seen any movies with Steven Seagull, jean-Claude van Damme or Chuck Norris in them? I'm not a Willis fan, but i thought he was good in Pulp Fiction, and ok in The Fifth Element...
