Yes, without 'thumbs'.

😞

No. Buy shortbread cookies, because they are so delicious.

What would be so great about everyone biting their proverbial tongues in order to create an anomaly?

Two of Wikipedia's five definitions of the term (the others are proprietary business names):

Junk mail may refer to:
Advertising mail, the delivery of advertising material to recipients of postal mail
E-mail spam, the sending of unsolicited bulk messages by email

Note that the only reference to content is "advertising material". The significant components include repetition of delivery of such material. I doubt too many posters in this forum would be delivering the same or similar messages in multiple forum threads, so, really, no need to bite your tongue if your posting is original in content.

Apologies, I assumed you were referring to quality as much as quantity.

Three (3) 'thumbs down' already. There's your sign....

Who cares about thumbs? I never even look. Thumbs are for the kiddies playing on Facebook. I'm disappointed that Russ thought we were as moronic as that lot, but perhaps he's been reading our forum posts for too long...

Good point. Thanks.

Sadly, some posters posts seem to be thumbs downing magnets
