Junk mail may refer to:
Advertising mail, the delivery of advertising material to recipients of postal mail
E-mail spam, the sending of unsolicited bulk messages by email
Note that the only reference to content is "advertising material". The significant components include repetition of delivery of such material. I doubt too many posters in this forum would be delivering the same or similar messages in multiple forum threads, so, really, no need to bite your tongue if your posting is original in content.
