Wu tangs love for chess is well documented. Thought I'd share one of my favorite hiphop videos where the clan are chess pieces...

"The game of chess is like a sword fight
you must think first before you move.
The Toad style is a mentally strong
and immune to any weapon
when properly used it's nearly invincible"

RZA has studied and played chess since he was around 11. Not sure exactly how good he is but who cares he loves the game 🙂

RZA has his own online chess site. Won't post it here, not sure of the rules, but it can easily be found.

'toad style is near invincible' seems to suggest a beginnerish disregard for the dangers of passive play? but I don't really have any idea though. I'd be surprised if they were any good, but then again so was I when the HIM keyboard player drew anand in a simul.

that has nothing to do with chess though. but good point.

I wish there were some games to look at...

Well... The OP was just saying they "loved" chess, not that they were any good at it...
