Thing is though dude, intelligence means nothing. It is what human beings take great satisfaction in, in their attempt to separate themselves from animals. We( ooops sorry, i meant you, o superior being) have no more right to be on this planet than any other species, but you just cannot see that because you are so arrogant it is unbelievable.
Okay it's not. I believe it.

I've taken a pawn like that - en passant!

Nordlsys - by impossible fork, I was talking about a Chess fork! I think you knew that.😉

The other thing you know about Chess - is that you're going to win a game when your opponent suddenly starts taking 3 days to reply to each move.

I was walking across a road and there was a person who was an L-shape away from me. I jumped out of their way because I thought it was a knight.

Too much chess or possibly schizophrenia.

UncleBuckset - yes I did. 😉 But I thought maybe a real fork could be used as a chess fork.

Since demonseed repeated his knight story, I can repeat mine, too: I often see people as sitting a knight-jump away from each other, for example in meetings. And then I may make imaginary moves with them. I have also once visualized a D major scale on a chessboard, but got distracted by the f sharp being taken. And I have had a lot of chess dreams. And words like "check", "pin" or "mate" are likely to trigger chess thoughts. Or if someone talks about Murhpy, I might start to think of Morphy. Yes, I have definitely been playing too much chess. 🙂
