They do it every year on dutch television, a few years back a dutch singer who took the test scored 52 ( this is over 20 points lower than a monkey who participated that same year)
IQ tests don't test your Intelligence, they test your ability to take IQ tests. For example: I have a very good friend who is currently doing a phd in chemistry at a very well respected university who have actually paid him to move from Ireland to America to do said doctorate.....
He is most definitely smarter than me. However on any IQ test we've ever taken I've scored up to 50 points higher than him. Last time I took one I was in the region of 140. He's often landed below the average mark......

That can't be right. Unless that was an easy one. On standard tests, typically distinguished academics score 140+ -> those who have doctorates ph.d's
I don't believe I can recall ever taking one. Though, I do remember a lot of tests. I would spend hours coloring in those little circles. Back in the 7th grade after what felt like a week long test. They made a huge deal over my results, all my classes where changed. I never read one question on any of those tests.
