I think I must be the only person in the world who didn't like the Harry Potter books. They are kids books, and that's exactly how they read to me, like a book written for kids. I suspect I would have loved them 10 years ago, but I'm looking for something a little more grown up these days.

the first two films were awful-but the 3rd had a kinda balance between darkness and plaiin stupid houmer, like all the leaves falling of the whomping willow to signify autumn...
the books will always be better-there is no doubt about that. same with LotR, but this one definatly gave the book a good run for it's money. dunno how they'll do all the other books though-they're kinda longer, to put it simply...😛
Originally posted by elvendreamgirlthey wouldn't need to replace Ron. Unless he's improved since the first 2 movies they could just replace him with 2 carboard cutouts, one for each of his facial expressions.
I was very pleased to hear that they plan to stick with the actors and they are filming the 4rth movie already. I think it would be very tough to adjust to a new Harry, Hermione, and Ron.
Is tis film really really much better than the first 2 movies? They were painfully bad, but you've almost encoraged me to go see the 3rd. I'll be annoyed if it's pants...
Originally posted by Remora91he would've made a great one, but you can't expect everything in the book to be in the film. try reading the lord of the rings books, then watch the films...😛
I didn't like the 3rd that much. They made up the whole movie and they left out some of the most important parts. Plus Johnny Depp (I have no idea how to spell it) should have played Sirius Black.

Maybe it's now time for me to reveal my "Harry Potter is Voldemort" theory that got me toasted on the Harry Potter newsgroup.
On the other hand, maybe not 🙂
