I was very pleased to hear that they plan to stick with the actors and they are filming the 4rth movie already. I think it would be very tough to adjust to a new Harry, Hermione, and Ron.

yes purclecow, they are really worth reading, i wasnt into them much but my teacher made me read the first one and i was hooked. But, i have to disagree about the 3rd being the best. It is definitely 5th all the way. The beginning is slow, but from middle to end, its awesome

The great thing about the books is that there is even more great wizardy stuff in them.
The books are so full of imagery that makes Hogwarts seem so real.

Zoe & everyone else who has not read the books, I can not tell oyu how much more magic is in those books. Where you just see a majestic scene in the movie is a magic landscape in the books.

I have every book & have read every single on at least once. Personally I can not wait for the sixth book to be realised.

Having said all of that the movies put in front of your eyes all the magic that was in those books. So far in the two movies I have seen not one part of Hogwarts has disappointed me. I love it all.

They are fantastic. I have read each at least twice. πŸ™‚

P.S. I was a little disappointed in the last movie though. πŸ™

I think I must be the only person in the world who didn't like the Harry Potter books. They are kids books, and that's exactly how they read to me, like a book written for kids. I suspect I would have loved them 10 years ago, but I'm looking for something a little more grown up these days.

Trekkie said it best. I always think a book is better than the movie though, there is always so much more and it's more personal, and leaves more to the imagination. And I'm 27- the books are fantastic. The movies are great too and I am looking forward to the next one!
