"My boss is constantly singling me out at work and blaming me for things I didn't even do. He's giving me more work than anyone else, and expects me to get it done quicker than anyone else. He's a MONSTER and I'm at my wit's end"!
The husband frowns, "I'll have a talk with that joker, and if things don't change I'll break his nose"!
The woman looks at the husband confused, "You really don't understand women, do you? I don't want you to solve my problems; I just want you to listen to me, and comfort me. Try saying things like, 'I understand' or 'Oh, that's too bad'. Women don't want solutions, they want understanding and comforting.
Some days later the wife was leaving for work and got a flat tire near the end of the drive. She went to the trunk and her spare tire was flat. Her husband was just leaving for work and the woman ran up the road to catch him.
"Honey! I've got a flat tire, my spare tire is flat, and I'm going to be late for work. I've got a huge presentation and if I don't make it my boss is going to kill me"!
The husband steps out of the car, and gives the wife a big hug. "I understand. Don't worry though, everything is going to be alright".
With that, he got back into his car and drove off to work.
