Sheriff threatens to deputise every legal gun owner against protesters.
(Then rides off into sunset I expect.)
What a clown.

@wolfgang59 saidI find it amusing and quaint that in America they still have a town sheriff who has a big hat, a shiny badge, some “watchya gunna do sheriff?” deputies and in this case some angry townsfolk to help out.

@divegeester saidThere's a reason why it's a stereotype.

@divegeester saidLike I said, there's a reason why it's a stereotype.
I refer you to the OP ... where a town has a sheriff who has a big hat, a shiny badge, some “watchya gunna do sheriff?” deputies and some angry townsfolk to help out.

@divegeester saidNo, keep your stool, you need it more than me.
Like I said, I refer you to the OP where it’s real.
Grab a stool, you’ll need it getting off of your high horse.
It's real all over this country, mental midget, but hey, you'd know this if you actually lived here.
As I said, there's a reason it's a stereotype. It' s all too real in all too many places in America. The best we can do about it is poke fun at it, and maybe it will eventually become something not acceptable to most Americans, but these hayseed sherriffs keep getting elected, so there's not much to be done about it but make fun and hope it goes away eventually.
