Zach's Poetry

I have just created this thread.
Here is where I will type right before bed.

I will rant and rave,
and act like I live in a cave.

Free Verse and poetic devices are great,
but they will never find you a mate...
or will they?

I play 200 too many games,
but yet, at the same time, I don't know how to tame
the urge to play more.

Some days I just don't play.
I just want to have a free day.

A day that I make any moves,
Is a day that I must have the flu.

I don't want to play all day,
but I must.

TO'd I will be,
If I don't play like a bumble bee.

One day I was honored by the best of the best,
And sent a game as a test.

To see if I could outwit or outplay,
The best of the best (on this particular day).

I just found out on this poor, sad day,
That I lost in the game in the most gay way.

But, to my satisfaction, I was priviledged to play the highest rated player...ever! 🙂
This will forever,
Increase my endeavor,
To play...just to play.

School

I just got back from a place,
Where you get hit over the head with a mace,
And learn random facts.

David Tebb

One afternoon, long, long ago
I asked David Tebb if I could swing a throw,
at his Queen,
with my mean
and fiesty Knight.

Of course he said yes,
And, although I played my best,
I lost.
Luckily it didn't cost,
my rating much of a hit.
The day will come when Tebb will have to sit
down and realize that he lost to me.

[HA! Like that will ever happen 😛]

The Forums

The forums are the best thing at this site!
I love them, although I might
sometimes choose to fly a kite
instead of chat here 😛 🙂

The General is for me,
A true talker bee.

Debates is for the smart ones,
And the tons
of thinkers.

The chess forum is for tips
and to learn how to whip
me in a game 😀

Help & Site Ideas is so Russ
can keep the site running (so it doesn't turn into puss).

'Meet Opponents' is where people beg
for the games.
Sometimes I think if you say no that they will rip off your leg.
They need to tame
themselves more.

Posers & Puzzles is where I go
if I'm looking to know
the answer to a riddle.

Tournaments is where we talk
about all the cool tourneys and mock
the losers 😛

The Clan Forum is where I go
if I want to pull your toe,
because you won't join the Order of the Arrow.

"Forum Issues" is where Russ
says that someone cussed.
Maybe they got banned,
or maybe they got a good tan
from burning in .... [you know] 😀

Whew!

That last poem drained me for a while 😞

lol. I'll post more after I move in the 72 games that are waiting my move 🙄 Also, I would like to see other people post their poems. I feel all alone 😉

The Players Tables

The Players Tables cause people's chests
to stick out so far that their buttons pop.
Some think they are so good that they become pests,
just because they are at the top.

"A rating is just a virtual number that means nothing," I was once told
by a player at that top that was so bold
to denounce his own name.
Now this player knows how to play his game,
and never moves the same.

MAP is for the people with no lives,
that like to jump and jive,
when they hit 100k 😛

[3 have done this and they are all good friends of mine...I don't mean to insult them in any way, shape or form 🙂]
