Both players disciplined. Seems fair to me. Doesn't hurt Zidane since he is retired but he got a 7,500 SF fine.
If it was anyone other than Zidane (or a big star), nobody would care what Materazzi said.
Besides, Zidane is a liar because he claimed in an interview that Materazzi said things about his sister and mother, but if you watch their lips from the angle in front of them, you'll see this is what is said.
