Simple, informative and entertaining. Give one. Request one.

Example:

* What's your opinion of RHP?

* Fantastic social/recreational window on the world.

.........................

* What's your opinion of the December, 2012, predictions?

Apparently the transparent design of this playful, innocuous "~ 2009 Opinion Game ~" novelty thread

was still much too complicated with suggested rules of play that were far too difficult to follow. My bad.

"Repent" = to change one's mind (a transitive verb which by definition includes definitive

actions/results and does not require the superfluous modifer 'truly'😉. Mild disappointment

is all my passing tongue in cheek comment conveyed. Tim, for the sake of your general

health kindly learn to ignore or absorb member/subscriber threads you happen to dislike.

truly can be taken to mean honestly repentant. One can say, "I'm sorry" and have the appearance of repentance, yet still be un-repentant. Semantically I'd say he was not in error

No soldier truly pulls a trigger. No lady truly conceives in intercourse. No human being truly believes or repents. You either shoot

the gun; get pregnant; place your confidence in something or someone; change your mind or you don't. 'Truly' is another great

example of superficial distinctions without a difference... and as such belongs in the common wisdom bin where maggots feast.

Daemon, please travel back in time from the 14th to the 1st Century. Believe you'll discover 'metanoia' (in the Koine Greek)

as an early point of origin for the word 'repent', with the meaning of 'after mind' (after giving it thought to change your mind,

decision or viewpoint). An emotional connotation triggered the anachronistic dialectic to alter the cerebral meaning much later.

Sort of hoped you'd discover the secret message, hiding in plain view, between the lines...
Please live and let live.

yet all these people are known to lie about those actions. Women have lied about being pregnant, men have lied about military service. people lie about repentance. I stand by my post.

If you keep going back in time you'll get to the stage where a few grunts means "The best fruit is in that tree over there" but neither that nor your dodgy Greek translation has any bearing on the contemporary meaning of the word 'repent'.

If you wanted to use it in the Koine Greek context, I'd advise putting on a toga and typing your entire post in Greek.
